Program Goal:
This self-study knowledge-based learning activity was developed to educate pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy students on both federal and Arizona state pharmacy law practice. This course is an excellent learning tool for preparing for reciprocity into Arizona, assist assisting recent pharmacy school graduates preparing to take the MPJE, or for those who just want an update on pharmacy law .
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss applicable Federal laws and regulations impacting the practice of pharmacy
- Discuss applicable Arizona laws and regulations impacting the practice of pharmacy
- Cite the difference between the Federal Controlled Substances Act and Arizona
- Identify permitted activities for pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and pharmacy technicians
- Recognize actions that may subject a licensee to disciplinary action by the Board of Pharmacy

- 5 hour educational webinars that cover portions of Federal and State Law as well as corresponding presentation slides

Credit requirements must be completed before the expiration date of the activity. Upon completion, credit will be transmitted electronically to the ACPE. All transmitted credit will be viewable in your CPE Monitor profile within 24 hours.
Arizona Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

Refund Policy:
Refund and/or cancellation requests must be made in writing to the Arizona Pharmacy Association office. A cancellation request must be made at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled program and will be charged a $75 cancellation fee plus applicable credit card fees. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests made less than fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled program. You must submit a written request to cancel by email, fax, or standard mail and confirm that AzPA has received the request. AzPA reserves the right to cancel any activity due to insufficient pre-registration or as determined by the Executive Director. In this case, all individuals pre-registered are notified and issued a full refund. Registration fees cannot be re-allocated due to the multiple steps involved with processing CE credits.
