To ensure proper formatting of your submissions, please read all the instructions, below, carefully. Registered names must match all submissions including abstracts, slides and handouts. For urgent matters, please email: admin@azpharmacy.org.

Continuing Education and Credit information

Accreditation Information 

The Arizona Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE).

 

 Continuing Education

Sessions approved for CE credits are indicated by the CE icon, an ACPE number, and the number of CEUs in the session listing.

To obtain CPE credit for any of the LIVE sessions, learners must attend the session live, enter the session code, and complete the assessment quiz and evaluation for each session attended. The session code and further instructions will be provided at the end of each LIVE session.

  • January 15: Registration Opens
  • April 1 at 11:59 PM (MST): Deadline for registration and abstract submission
  • Note: Registration deadline does not apply to preceptors and RPD's
  • April 10: Applicants will be notified of their abstract acceptance
  • April 25 at 11:59 PM (MST): Deadline for resident headshot and short biography submissions to admin@azpharmacy.org
  • May 15 at 11:59 PM (MST): Deadline to submit presentation slides to admin@azpharmacy.org


Abstract Submission:

  • Please review the "Abstract Submission Guidelines", "Abstract Submission Worksheet", and "Abstract Submission Example" to guide the development of your abstract.
  • Note: It is important to carefully review and follow all formatting guidelines to ensure approval of abstract submission.
  • When submitting the abstract worksheet, please be sure to identify what type of project is being presented.
  • Use the "Abstract Submission Worksheet" to plan and outline for your abstract submission
  • Remember to thoroughly proofread your work before submitting. Abstracts may not be reviewed prior to the conference. The "Abstract Reviewer Form" can be used to help guide reviewers when providing feedback to residents on their abstracts. In order to get a fresh perspective on the project, we suggest that residents have someone other that their preceptor for the residency project review the abstract. This could be a co-resident or mentor and use this form to provide feedback.
  • Please be sure to double check the formatting and content of your abstract once it has been transferred into the worksheet and prior to submitting.
  • Note: If your research project will not be finalized by the time you submit your abstract and/or at the time of the conference it is okay to list results as "In Progress".

Presentation:

  • Please review the "Presentation Guidelines" for detailed information and a list of mandatory slides
  • Note: Presenters MUST use the template slide deck provided below
  • There is no limit to the number of slides but strict cut-off times will be enforced
  • 15-minutes oral presentation
  • 5-minute Q&A session
