Pharmacy Network of Arizona (PNA)

Pharmacy Network of Arizona is the for-profit corporation under the auspices of the Arizona Pharmacy Alliance. Its purpose is to evaluate and monitor therapeutic regimens, establish a positive outcome-based therapy, and provide essential information from these activities to health care providers for proper provision of quality health care.

PNA launched the first ever employer-based Medication Therapy Management Services (MTMS) program in Arizona in January 2008. MTMS is specifically designed to optimize therapeutic outcomes through improved medication use and to reduce the risk of adverse effects, including adverse drug interactions. The PNA MTMS is currently available in Arizona in Gila County, Graham County, Greenlee County, Lake Havasu City, St. John's, and Nogales.

AzPA offers an MTM Toolkit to help pharmacists implement an MTM component in their practice The kit contains tools for MTM interventions, comprehensive medication reviews, patient medication lists, and much more. The kit is available online at the link below.
