MEET THE AzPA STAFF        

 

Kelly Fine (Ridgway), R.Ph., FAzPA
Chief Executive Officer 
Kelly joined AzPA as CEO in October 2011. A graduate of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy, she came to Arizona in 2001. Prior to her position with AzPA, Kelly was Pharmacy Care Manager for a major drug chain where she was responsible for patient care programs including immunizations, medication therapy management, community health fairs, and in-store screening services.


Kelly served as the 2010-2011 President of AzPA and served on the Board of Directors in various capacities since 2006. In 2013 she was named an AzPA Fellow.  Kelly is also a preceptor and adjunct faculty at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy Glendale and the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy.

Cindy Esquer

Operations Director 

Cindy joined the AzPA team in November 2015. As the Operations Director, Cindy assists the Chief Executive Officer in managing the association staff, event and conference planning, oversees day-to-day office tasks and monitors the association's budget and vendor contracts.

Erin Burk

Legislative Liaison & Special Research 

Erin joined the AzPA team in June 2015. She helps the AzPA staff and Board of Directors explore new opportunities for growth.

 Sarah Elenes

 Membership

 Sarah joined the AzPA team in December 2016. She handles all membership  retention and new member strategies. She also coordinates membership  benefits and works with the Membership Committee to brainstorm new  membership incentives.

Cindy Younger
Accounting 
An AzPA staff member since November 2006, Cindy is responsible for all things financial for AzPA and its related organizations, including payments, receipts, financial statements, and tax filings.

Deborah Marcum

PAPA 
Deb came to AzPA in March 2012In her role as Administrator, Deb coordinates the intake and referral process for PAPA participants.  Her responsibilities include maintaining participant records and providing reports to the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.

 Kathy Harty

 Continuing Education 

 Kathy rejoined the AzPA team in October 2016. She manages and  structures continuing pharmacy education programs according to ACPE  standards with the direction of the CEO, Board of Directors, and CE  committee. Kathy also works with the CEO and the CE Committee to    develop innovative educational opportunities.

  Jessie Armendt

  Contract Lobbyist
  Jessie Armendt has spent the last seven years around the state capitol    where she has developed experience in healthcare, public safety, education,  and animal welfare issues. She is a graduate from Rice University where she  received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Armendt began her lobbying career as the Government Relations Coordinator at Williams and Associations, where she spent two years before moving to Arizona Governmental Affairs as a Director. Before entering into the policy realm, she spent a year in philosophy Ph.D. program at the University of Maryland and then returned o Arizona to work as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. She is currently a partner with Axiom Public Affairs.
